Our Catering Policies:

Please note that all catering will be received with a check, business or personal. Any bounced or return checks will still be due within 24hrs but will be subject to a $30.00 charge. Any late payments after 24hours will be subject to a 5% interest charge accrual each 30 days thereafter. We can absolutely accommodate any major credit card and will only need to apply a 3% charge to cover the additional fees we would accrue. 

 

Corporate and Traditional Catered Food

 

 

 

  • 50% of the working catering invoice is due to confirm an event

  • Specialty food items are non refundable

  • Up to and including 8 days prior to even 50% of the catered food is non refundable

  • 7 days to 5 Days prior to event 75% of the catered food is non refundable

 

  • Day of event and 4 Days prior to event 100% of the catered food is non refundable

  • 1 to 2 Days prior to event client may reschedule catered food, however perishable items and incurred additional expenses: Additional Expenses: labor, specialty foods shipped in, loss of use may be extra. Deposit 50% will be credited toward the new date. If new date is cancelled then the deposit 50% will not be refunded.

  • ** Note refunds are the sole descression of EAT Honolulu. Although and event may be cancelled or rescheduled EAT Honolulu reserves the right to to allow for consulting and coordinating when or if deterining to allow for a cancelation or refund of any amount or for any reason.

 

 

 

Weddings, Rehersals and Formal Events

 

 

  • For weddings which are confimred 6 months or longer from the wedding date 25% of the quote is due to reserve services. Clients are allowed to make monthly payments if needed, and its actually encouraged. 

  • Clients may make changes throughout the planning process but **note once a ceremony, reception or rehersal is initially confirmed and a client request changes to be me made if there are cost associated with the changes this cost will be addd to the invoice and will be due and payable. At confirmation items are placed on hold and equipment is either reserved or purchased.  2nd party rentals are subject to their terms and conditions.

  • 50% of the working invoices catered food pending total is due 3 months prior to the wedding date.

  • Specialty food items, special purchase, specific reservations may not be subject to a refund.

 

  • 30 days prior to an wedding or rehersal 75% of the invoice is due.

  • 7 days prior 100% of the invoice is due in full. No decreases in head counts allowed increases may be allowed.

  • ** Note refunds are the sole descression of EAT Honolulu. If a wedding or rehersal is cancelled EAT Honolulu reserves the right to to allow any or all of the amount paid to date to be applied toward consulting and coordinating, when determining a refund of any amount or for any reason.

Equipment Rental

 

 

  • 50% of the equipment rental is due to confirm an event

  • Specialty equipment items are non refundable to include linens and décor

  • Up to and including 8 Days prior to event 50% of the equipment rental is non refundable

  • 7 Days to 5 days prior to event 75% of the equipment rental is non refundable

 

  • Day of event and 4 days prior 100% of the equipment rental is non refundable

  • 1 to 2 Days prior to event client may reschedule. Incurred additional expenses: labor, parts, loss of use may be extra. Deposit 50% will be credited toward the new date. If new date is cancelled then the deposit 50% will not be refunded.

Damage / Theft - Equipment Rental

  • Equipment damaged by the client will be the responsibility of the client. Replacement cost may incur.

  • Equipment stolen by the client or while in the possession of the client will be the responsibility of the client.
